Yesterday I decided it was time to do this. Time to stick with it. Third time is a charm, right? I've tried blogging twice before, failing both times. I don't know if it was that I felt like I had nothing exciting to blog about or simply didn't take the time to do it. When you start off blogging it's kind of like writing your thoughts/feelings on a piece of paper, kind of like I used to do when I was bored in 7th grade science class. The difference then was I hoped no one would see that piece of paper; now, I'm writing this for people to see. So here I am trying it again - hopefully people enjoy reading about what is going on in this crazy new life I'm living. I don't have anything fancy to blog about...I'm not crafty, I don't have giveaways, I don't have a big hobby to share with you, and I certainly can't say that I'm a great writer (here is to hoping that the writing part gets better, and perhaps the other things too).
Life is slightly different then it was 10 weeks and 1 day ago. We welcomed Maddux William into our family, an absolute blessing. It's amazing that Will and I created a little person with a personality which is already emerging. Being a parent is the best, there are seriously no words to describe it. Sleepless nights, crying, dirty dishes in the sink, loads of laundry waiting to be folded....all worth it. Looking at Maddux's sweet little face and knowing that he is all mine makes it worth it. Everything else can wait.

With all of that said, I hope you enjoy knowing what I'm living life for every day. I do know one thing for sure, I'm doing my darnest to live it to the fullest. It isn't worth missing out on, especially with that little guy in it.
